PhD on Patio & Pavilion

Congratulations to Juan Cabello Arribas, practicing architect, who was awarded his PhD on 'Assemblage: Designing the Slide of Patio & Pavilion' at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid/Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. Juan has produced an exciting practice based PhD, which reconstructs the experience of visiting This is Tomorrow in 1956. He draws on new, archival material made available at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. He will be speaking about 'Assemblage' at the Interior Wor(l)ds conference in Milan October 5th and 6th 2010, as will myself on 'Ephemeral' and Penny Sparke on 'Permeable'.
